what am i missing here, how does this expand your mac? Are you saying plug it into your mac to be able to play HD on your mac or is there someway to wirelessly connect your mac to this box which would be plugged into your tv to play videos off your mac to your tv?

I guess the title is slightly misleading. I’m just suggesting that this device is a good way to playback movie you may already have on your mac. Say you have a MacBook or a MacBook Pro and you have this great HD video you wanna watch, instead of watching it on your 13″ or 15″ laptop screen you can simply throw it on a jump drive and view it in full HD on your HDTV.
