New to changing icon in OS X? Well, no worries. It is easier then ever.

First find the original application/folder/volume that you want to customize. Select it and press [Apple]+[i]. Doing this will bring up the items info window. After you have the window open, open the new custom icon you would like to replace it with. (Opening the image in preview worksbest.) Once the image is open press [Apple]+[A] to select all. After you have selected the icon hit [Apple]+[C] to copy it. Now navigate back to that info window you have open. If you have done everything correctly you should have small icon in the upper left hand corner of the window, click on it and hit [Apple]+[V] to paste it. Viola! Repeat the steps to all necessary apps/folders/volumes.
