The PowerMac G4. A Review.
$330 may not seem like a lot, but ,it was enough to get me the machine of my dreams. 6 years ago Apple introduced the dual 1GHz PPC G4. It was a stylized workhorse when it was introduced in 2002, and it still packs a punch today.
The only major drawback of a machine of this age is the bus speed. Although it was bumped significantly from previous models, 167MHz still leaves more to be desired. Don’t let that hold you back though. The 6 internal drive bays allow for 2 TBs of internal storage as well as two optical drives and if you want to put in a $50 SATA controller card, you can bump the internal storage up to 4TBs.
